Platform Requirements, Design and APIs

Goal: This activity will do a preliminary study on the current status of the technology being used to manage HPC and Big Data applications and on the requirements for handling these applications. After collecting all the requirements, this activity will also be responsible for defining the design and architecture of the proposed platform. This will contemplate the high-level architecture and APIs for the monitoring, virtualization management and storage components, as well as, their integration into a unified and fully-functional framework.
