Virtualization and Application Management

Goal: This activity will implement the capability to deploy both traditional and non-traditional workflows in an HPC environment while optimizing the utilization of available software and hardware resources. It will ensure applications are run with the optimal software settings for a given hardware configuration while providing a platform agnostic interface to the end user for driving their workflows. Virtualization technologies, namely containerization, will be explored to achieve the previous objectives.
