Last week, close to 20 students from the MAP Doctoral Program in Computer Science (MAP-i) had the opportunity to get to know the BigHPC, a project with an impact on High-Performance (HPC) related areas.

The MAP-i students – part of one of the PhD programs that is closely related to the research carried out within the scope of the project – also visited INESC TEC’s High-Assurance Software Laboratory; it was a good opportunity to learn more about the work carried out in the HPC and Big Data areas and get to know a good example of international collaboration between industry and academia.

It is important to mention that the initiative was also an opportunity to share the project’s vision and expected outcomes, while promoting the project’s activities and benefits.
